I don't think I ever hoped to have as many cartoon ideas lined up all at once. In the last week I've had several great ideas (and forgotten a few as well), so now I have enough to last until nearly April. And even then, I've got one ready for St. George's Day.

Dilemma: Do I draw all the artwork now, or do I save them up until the day of release?
The process I go through currently (and unlikely to change) is - draw out the significant bits of each frame in pencil, then ink over in black. Take a photo of it with digital camera, then add a transparency mask to said photo in PhotoFiltre to get it all one colour (white on black, it usually turns out as). Go to Paint, correct the colours, fill in details, flood fill to colour the image, repeat for each image. Then add speech and copyright, save and upload. In order to make this process get a bit smoother, tomorrow I will be buying a sketch pad and a decent pencil and rubber.
