Just got back from my six-monthly review at the jobcentre. What a waste of time! The whole office is set up to achieve throughput, never mind about the fact that they're supposed to be helping people back into work, they just want to get us processed AFAP and get us out. Three questions, a minor edit to my jobseeker's agreement, a print-off of a job that I'd found on the machine, and that's it, goodbye. That wasn't a review, that was a beaureaucratic tick-mark!
