Blond. James Bond.
Nov. 20th, 2006 09:46 pmHave just treated myself to going to see "Casino Royale" as a reward for finishing NaNoWriMo two weeks early.
Much better film, much better plot than the last couple with Remington Steel in them. However, a blond James Bond? Not altogether convincing, really. He's got the hardness, the coldness, and the poise, but there's something lacking. The eyes help. Good film, well worth seeing - although during the scene where Bond's tied naked to a chair being whipped, all I could think was "Heather's going to have an absolute riot with this bit!" And the ending drags on a bit, until you realise it's not actually the end, and the last scene? I think we can safely say, "Welcome back, Mr Bond."
