sabremeisterUgh - what an awful day it's been for writing. Just as I left for work this morning, I realised I had forgotten to make a significant roll for last night's battle, and I would have to try and remember it all day so I could re-do it tonight. It was the kind of roll that could easily have resulted in a completely different battle - so I was rather glad when the character (a Berserker) made it (a Will roll after being wounded), as not only would I not have to re-do the battle, I also wouldn't have to dredge up everybody's stats for that point in the battle from memory, and re-create the Orc from scratch too.
Anyway - tidied it up a bit, then got on with the story. Or tried to. I didn't even get 800 words done. And seeing as I'm suddenly at 22000 words and roughly just about to start the final third of the story, that's not good. I need to pad! But padding is not happening! Maybe I should have a look at some of the dares on the forums tomorrow, see if I can work any in. Or take some of the advice I've seen floating around on the site, and add a trebuchet and/or ninjas.
