Spent a fair amount of the last two days fixing up a new combat sheet, which is why my wordcount was a little slow. I'm still four days ahead, but I had hoped to be five days ahead by Friday, and that may not be possible now. Anyway, it's a good job I finished the new combat sheet, which has space for four simulataneous combats on it, because in today's writing, I ran my heroes into a pair of Orcs, and it took all three of the fighters to take them down.

AFAICT, I'll be at 50k by the 20th, which is just as well, really, as my story doesn't look like it's going to last much longer than 50,000 words anyway.
