General Status Update

sabremeisterDriving lessons going well. Should be changing from Thursday evening to Friday daytime soon, to experience different driving conditions. Still on course to take test by Christmas.
Have been at Sacar over the summer, helping out with starting production on the drama group's Christmas piece - a site-specific film noir wossname. Last week was last week.
Starting at MTG again on Monday, as part of the Acting Company. Because of my wide range of talents and skills, I'm going to be doing extra stuff with media and backstage work.
ESA Appeal final hearing happened at start of July. Took them a couple of months to send written confirmation that that I was entitled to ESA all along. Got a form last week to fill in telling them about any changes to circumstances since they stopped paying me in November 09 (that was a shitty month, that was). Told them no changes except the course at MTG last year and starting in the Acting Company next week, here's a letter explaining what the Acting Company actually is with regard to eligibility for things like ESA, sent it off yesterday. Now wait another six weeks (probably) for the lazy bastards to process it and send me my 23 months back payments.
Have been hired to do some reading at the Morley Literary Festival - a Mills & Boon homage - on October 15th. *shrug* It's money. They're also doing sessions with Mark Radcliffe, Arthur Smith, Adam Hart-Davies, Charles Dickens' great-great-great-granddaughter, and three Dr Who writers (all with surnames beginning with M), plus Alwyn Turner (biographer of Terry Nation) and Ian Rankin.
Have done a little planning beyond the title (Exit, Pursued by Bear) for November's NaNoWriMo. Book VI of HS&S:WT is probably going to be different in tone and style to previous books. But that won't stop me from putting in little shout-outs to music, classic comedy and pop culture.
Umm, that's about it for now.
