Impending DWCon

sabremeisterSo I got back from Skipton today, after going up for the weekend to see the last night of the show at SLT and grab some stuff for the website, followed by a party at an Itlaian restaurant owned by the son of the chair of SLT, followed by spending half the night trying (and failing) to get a scanner to behave itself and scan all the bakc programmes I've got at a higher resolution than they are now, and a five hour journey featuring delays, crowding and heavy rain to get back here (Hayes).
Anyway, I'm here now, and I've updated the website (both SLT's and BeerMonster), and I've read the post that I found waiting for me upon return. Payslip and timesheet, check. Undelivered package waiting for collection (that'll be the MD player), check. Instant bin of reminder to get free shares in Pertemps, check. And last, but not least - the DWCon update!
Gala Dinner Applications will be coming in May, apparently - if Ihave any money then, I may consider getting one.
Gopher Applications - possibly. Might do. Will have to see.
Maskerade Entry - oh yes, definitely. And then I see the new rules on the back - "Each act may only have a maximum of one and a half minutes on stage" What?! But I've got a songto sing! A slow song! It can't be hurried! Oh well, I'm just going to have to rethink it slightly and think myself lucky I hadn't got round to asking someone to record the backing track yet. It had better not include applause - ninety seconds is how long I had to hold a giant sheep's leg while waiting to for the applause to die down before I could say my line last time.
Guild Membership - Alchemists, Assassins, Conjurers, Fools, Lawyers, Musicians, Priests, Seamstresses, UU. No Barbarian Alliance, I see. Oh well, will just have to enrol at UU as a mercenary.
Polo & T-Shirt order forms - Nah, I think I'll pass. I have enough T-shirts and so on.
Hotel Booking Form - At last! Now, this does actually pose a slight problem. When should I go, and when should I leave, and therefore how many nights shall I book for? Will I have money at the time? kabukivice, can I cadge a lift? I can get out to Reading or even Watford (if you're giving a lift to wiccachik) fairly easily, and it'd be a lot easier than farting around on trains all day. Of course, if you don't have room, then I'll get the train anyway, but if you are able to offer me a lift, I'll need to know when you're going so I can book my room accordingly. Thanks muchly.
