Stuff to do
Feb. 16th, 2006 06:53 pmDay off tomorrow, before I go home at the weekend to catch the last night of "The Cracked Pot" at SLT and get the programme and some photos for the website. I'm hoping I can spend the day usefully and get some things done. Like:
1) Argue with the bank about my credit card
2) Get some wellies (for conversion for use as part of DWCon costume)
3) Buy some music - I'm thinking KT Tunstall and Kaiser Chiefs albums need buying, but I'm still debating as to whether I should go into Harrow (where I know there's an HMV - I don't like HMV), or try and find my way round the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street, where at least I can get some phone credit after buying the CDs
4) Draw this week's and next week's (if possible) BeerMonster. Because I'm going home, I won't be able to upload the new issue until I get back late on Sunday, or possibly wait until Monday morning if my connection is feeling obstructive. And then Monday is my offical changeover to broadband, so there could be complications which may necessitate me not being able to get the damn thing working until late on next Sunday.
5) Buy food and supplies for the weekend, which will probably include staying up all night watching videos, a rental DVD, scanning things in, and and picking which CDs I'm going to take back to London with me to record onto minidisc. Why minidisc? Because I've bought a portable MD player/recorder as a cheaper and more practical (for me) alternative to an MP3 player, and a more reliable mobile alternative to my portable CD player.
