Right now, I'm supposed to be at Sacar. Don't ask me what it stands for, I don't know, something to do with getting people affected with autism-spectrum disorders (of which Asperger's is one) fully integrated into society, or something.
Anyway, I'm supposed to be there, registering with them, or somesuch. It snowed last night, there's a thin layer of slush on the ground. I got up later than I should have, left later than I should have, and partly because of the snow, missed the last train that would have got me there before the end of the sign-up session. So I came back.
I'm not going all the way into Bradford, spending money I haven't really got on a train ticket, to be bewildered all day. Okay, yes, I went a couple of weeks ago to see what they were about and so on, but basically, all I got was a tour of the building and a nice chap in glasses burbling on about how they're all one big happy family, and we do this and that and the other, and no-one gets left out, and how no-one's really different. Yeah, right. It didn't really tell me anything, whilst telling me everything. Consequently, I still don't really know what the fuck they do there, and why I should be going in the first place.
