DWCon06 Stuff
Aug. 16th, 2006 08:35 pmWell, as per I have left everything to the last minute when I could have so easily done it ages ago, or last month, or last week, or even yesterday. Hmm, well, not quite everything, I did actually have most of the furry stuff already made (about a month ago). I've still got the vest to do, though, and I still need to make a sword loop. The sword is actually drying out right now, and I'll be spraying it later tonight. The broom, however, is definitely 100% done, complete, finished - all I need to do is tie it to the side of my suitcase tomorrow after packing.
Let's see - costume 1: DG needs tacking, hat needs covering and letters sticking (but that has to be done in situ anyway), boots I'll be wearing on the trip, tracky bottoms, T-shirt and socks are sorted.
Costume 2: Furry things all done except vest and sword loop. Belt is done (with exception of sword-loop). Sword is drying, to be sprayed later, the other bits ready to be packed.
Costume 3: Boots as 1. Trousers, shirt ready for packing, likewise waistcoat. As are both coats. And the beret and mask, although I need to find that black ribbon and turn it into a bow-tie. Broom finished, ready for seperate packing. Cloak de-hooded and ready for packing. (Note: remember to take spare hairy stuff and hood for Chaos Costuming)
Others: Will be wearing spare trousers and shirt, I know where spare T-shirts and keks are for packing, washbag ready for packing, shaver somewhere nearby. Spare weaponry ready for packing.
