Good News, Bad News

The bad news is that I still don't have all the stuff off my old laptop yet, and it looks like the only way to get it is to personally supervise the file transfer as it's being done by the guy who cocked it up first time. Saturday morning, and probably a chunk of the afternoon as well, is going to be not fun.

The good news is that a small shiny model of the Discworld arrived at my (Yorkshire) home today. As I'm in London, and not planning on going home until Christmas-ish, I doubt I'll get to see it until then, but at least it's there.
